Sewage Backup In Riverdale, NJ

This sewage backup in a store basement in Riverdale, NJ was the result of a broken pipe. Notice the extent of the sewage backup; this biohazard was about an inch deep throughout the unfinished basement.

SERVPRO of North Morris County was cotacted at 5:15 PM and was on site performing emergency services by 6:30 PM.

The after picture was taken only one day after the incident. After extraction of the raw sewage, we used our professional disinfectant on all affected surfaces, as well as an air scrubber to eliminate any residual odor.

Our customer was expecting a much longer process and she was thrilled with the results.
